What
is Lumière?
Over
time, our skin becomes less elastic. Smoking, stress, sun exposure,
excessive alcohol, pollutants in the air and illness all conspire
to create lines, wrinkles, and scars. Skin changes may be part
of the natural aging process, but you don't have to like it.
LED
Skin Rejuvenation is the interaction of light, delivered through
Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) at precisely 633 nanometers. This
pure red light activates cell receptors causing them to produce
collagen, elastin, and enzymes that are imperative to the skin's
supportive structure. The result is a totally natural, non-ablative
method for skin rejuvenation that helps minimize crow's feet,
fine lines, wrinkles, reduce scar appearances, hyper-pigmentation,
freckles, Rosacea and simply improves the overall appearance of
the skin.

Q:
Is this safe?
A: Lumière is absolutely 100% safe. The FDA has
advised that this device can be safely used to deliver cosmetic
treatments and that "poses no significant risk" to you. The device
was evolved from and FDA-approved, physician-grade medical device
that is currently in dermatologist practices and medical spas.
Q:
How exactly does Lumière work?
A: Lumière works with your body's own natural processes
to counteract the visible signs of aging. It's a complete, systematic
approach to skincare. Upon coming in to our salon to complete
a series of Photo-Therapie sessions you will be given special
skincare products, called Photoceuticals to apply to your face.
Then you'll lay on the special facial table under the Lumiere
Photo-Therapie device. The device is a patented facial lamp that
emits pure red light at 633 nanometers and works with the skincare
products to help your skin rejuvenate itself. Each session is
20 minutes and you will find that it is very relaxing.
Q:
What type of results does Lumière deliver?
A: From independent tests that were done on the process,
over 90% of participants were satisfied with results. Clients
reported benefits that included an overall lifting and hydrating
effect, an improvement in skin tone and texture, and evening our
of pigmentation, a smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles and a
feeling of well being and relaxation. The results are divided
into 2 categories: Immediate and post-treatment.
Immediate:
Most clients immediately see a reduction of pore size, tightening
of skin, and a softer more vibrant appearance.
Post-treatment:
Approximately 21 - 60 days after initial treatment, most clients
will start seeing the emergence of new skin cells with the new
collagen/elastin. At this time, the real benefits start to accumulate
and continue for around 90 days. So as good as your results will
be after the first month, they will be even better after 3 months!

How long do the results last? What about maintenance?
A: This is going to depend on many factors such as how
much you smoke, drink, get exposed to environmental toxins, etc.
Typically, the results can start deteriorating after between 6
weeks and 3 months. The great news with Lumiere is that you can
